The Songwriter Sleepover is a Listen Local event that has taken place at various campgrounds and wineries in San Diego county over the past 15 years. It’s open to musicians and music lovers 21+ and is a chill weekend to write songs, collaborate, jam, and spark your creativity.
$75 per person includes:
camping on Fri and Sat night
digital portrait of yourself and our group
all meals and snacks
FRIDAY - Arrive anytime after noon on Friday, find a spot to set up camp (car, tent, or your small RV) and then enjoy amenities, relaxing, working on your game song (you'll be given a title prompt at check in), or just jamming with new friends until dinner at sunset. Fireside snacks and song circle jam until the wee hours.
SATURDAY - Breakfast from 8am to 10am followed by arts/crafts, shopping in The Green Room thrift store, bocce ball, horseshoes, putt putt golf, collaborating on songs, music making, and/or just chilling and enjoying the desert. Lunch is available whenever you're hungry. Group photo and portrait sessions around sunset followed by dinner and a fireside concert featuring our game songs.
SUNDAY - Continental breakfast on Sunday morning, relaxing, jamming. Check out at noon.

Cathryn will be cooking meals for you and offering a variety that should work with everyone's food restrictions/desires. You are welcomed to byo food and use our gas grill whenever you like, if you prefer. (Menu is subject to change!)
Friday night - Taco Bar and garden salad
Sat am - customizable personal breakfast casseroles and roasted potatoes
Sat lunch - sack lunch!
Saturday night - Lasagna and garden salad, dessert
Sunday am - Breakfast burritos with eggs, potatoes, cheese, black beans
Always available in the beach cottage - coffee, tea, water
We offer tent camping, car camping and have room for your small RV or trailer. You may also rent the Casita or our rustic tiny trailer. Campsites are primitive but we have an outdoor restroom with flushing toilet, hot outdoor shower, and a charging station for your digital devices or to blow up mattresses. Sorry, no additional power is available. We do not have wifi but 4G is very strong out here. We observe quite time from 10pm to 8am. Bonfire is subject to wind. All guests will be required to sign a "hold harmless" waiver releasing us from liability. We’ll be following the current protocol regarding masks and distancing at the time of our event.
